The New York Youth Symphony is an independent, not-for-profit institution dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through the study and performance of music.  Your support helps provide young musicians with high-quality music experiences, all while keeping these opportunities tuition-free.

How your contribution helps the New York Youth Symphony:

  • $50 Provides music rental for one orchestra student
  • $100 Underwrites one Chamber Music coaching
  • $250 Subsidizes one Jazz workshop
  • $500 Presents one Composition guest lecturer
  • $1,000 Underwrites space for one orchestra rehearsal
  • $2,500 Subsidizes one performance at Symphony Space
  • $5,000 Funds the full cost of participation for one student musician


Donate to our Annual Fund

A cash gift helps out where it is needed most.  All cash gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We accept cash gifts by check or credit card and donations can be made online, over the phone or via mail.

Make a recurring donation

Monthly contributions are a convenient and easy way to provide a reliable source of support for the New York Youth Symphony. Each month, we will automatically charge your card for your desired donation amount. You may opt out of monthly gifts at any time.

Contact your employer about a matching gift

Many employers will match your gift, thereby doubling or tripling the impact of your donation! Please check with your employer to see whether it offers a matching gift program. Often times, you will be required to submit a form to your employer with your donation amount and the date you made your gift.
