In Collaboration with American Composers Orchestra

Orchestrations+ is a unique reading project undertaken this season in collaboration with the American Composers Orchestra. Five student composers from the Making Score program will be selected to re-arrange established works for a reading by 12 of ACO's players alongside New York Youth Symphony musicians. During a feedback session following the readings, ACO musicians will provide the Making Score students with expert advice on their orchestratiosn. Recordings will be made for future reference.
