Gary Fitzgerald

Gary Fitzgerald is Director of Worship Arts for The Church Of The Apostles, an Episcopal Church in Fairfax, Virginia.Hewas trained at the Juilliard School, and has extensive experience as performer and director in a wide variety of settings.

As a performer he has been a member of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, the American Symphony Orchestra, the American Composers' Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of New York.

He has been a conductor of orchestras and choirs in Australia, New York and Northern Virginia, including large-scale diocesan choir festivals in the Episcopal Cathedrals in New York City and Washington, 

His work as a church musician began at 
Christ Church in Suffern, New York, where he became Organist and Junior Choir Director at age 13, and he returned to that parish as Music Director in 1980.In 1985 Mr. Fitzgerald was appointed by John W. Howe, currently Bishop of Central Florida, as Music Director for Truro Church in Fairfax, Virginia.
