A fully completed application form and fee are required
before an audition can be scheduled. After submitting your application, please allow five days for processing before calling 212-581-5933 to schedule an appointment.
Tuition and Scholarships
The New York Youth Symphony is committed to providing all its with the best musical experience possible. To make certain that no deserving student is turned away, students are enrolled on merit-based, full-tuition scholarships.
The value of each scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year is $4,850. Students may incur some fees, depending on the program, but even in those instances, students may apply for work-study subsidies.
Application Fee
A student should submit one application with a single fee of $70 for one, two, or more programs. Each program, however, requires a separate audition, and appointments must be scheduled in advance. Please make checks payable to New York Youth Symphony.
