Auditions for the 2013/2014 season will be held in late summer/early fall. Audition Information for all programs will be posted by June 15, 2013. 

2012/2013 Season Auditon Information

Eligibility
The applicant's birthdate must fall between Dec 4, 1989, and May 28, 2001, inclusive.

Audition Dates
Auditions have ended for the 2012/2013 Season. We hope that you will apply next year.

Scheduling An Audition Time
Upon completion of the application, an email will be sent to the applicant's email address with the link for you to schedule your audition. Please do not phone the office regarding audition times as they can only be scheduled online. If you are applying over a weekend please note that you will not receive this correspondence until the next business day.

Application
All prospective students must complete a single application that may be applied to one or more programs. The application fee for the 2012-2013 season is $75. There is an additional registration fee for each program that is due upon being accepted to the program.

Applicants are encouraged to complete their application online. Once you begin the application, you will not be able to save your work and resume at a later time. The application should take 15 - 20 minutes to complete if you have the following information available:

• A digital copy of your passport, state ID or birth certificate and a digital copy of a passport-sized photo.
• Your private music teacher's name and contact information, if applicable.
• Your school's name and music teacher's contact information, if applicable.
• Emergency contact information.
• Contact information for parents/guardians and grandparents.
• If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must be available to provide legal consent.

Upon submission, you should receive an email confirming that your application was submitted. If you do not receive confirmation within 15 minutes, please contact us at info@nyys.org. Before contacting the office, please check your junk/spam folder.
