Parents of New York Youth Symphony musicians are invited to join
the Parents Guild. The Guild provides invaluable support to NYYS
programs and is vital for the success of the participants.
| Organizational Ambassadors | |
|
One of the most important roles a parent can play is to serve
as an ambassador of the New York Youth Symphony by inviting
friends, family, and colleagues to performances. Spreading
the word about these wonderful programs increases ticket
sales, helps fund-raising, increases visibility, and heightens the
excitement of performances. |

| Parents Guild Committees | |

The Guild is organized into six committees that assist with specific
activities. All parents are encouraged to sign up for a committee
at the opening meeting. Marketing - Concerts Subscription/Single Ticket Sales Group Sales - Schools Kickoff Chaperone Audience Development Program Advertising |
